2021 Annual Meeting

As we were unable to gather for the 2020 annual meeting, we’re excited to announce the upcoming NDAA Annual Spring Meeting will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck, North Dakota using a hybrid online/in-person for-mat.

Our meeting this year will be available to members via an online Microsoft Teams link (details and we will send a link to participate, via email, prior to the meeting date), and in-person at Lecture Rooms A and B in the Heritage Center.

We do encourage online attendance of the annual meeting this year, but for those planning to join us in person we respectfully encourage the use of face masks and proper social distancing guidelines to help keep all of us safe and healthy.

We’ll begin with a short business meeting, followed by presentations from our speakers. We’re fortunate this year to be joined by State Historical Society of North Dakota (SHSND) Chief Archaeologist Dr. Andrew Clark, SHSND archaeological Collections Manager Dr. Ashenafi Zena, and local photographer and Former Governor’s Mansion & Camp Hancock State Historic Site Manager Johnathan Campbell. More details on the speaker presentation abstracts are printed in the March 2021 newsletter (Vol. 43 N0. 1).
