About the Event
What: NDAA tour of excavation work by PaleoCultural Research Group (PCRG) at Awatixa (Sakakawea) Village. Join NDAA member and PCRG Research Director Dr. Mark Mitchell for a guided tour of archaeology work in process.
When: Tuesday, July 30th, 2019
Time: Meet in Interpretive Center 10AM Central Time for brief orientation. We will walk out to Awatixa (Sakakawea) Village together.* The site tour will start around 10:30AM.
Where: Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site, Stanton, ND.
