How to Donate to the Cynthia Kordecki Scholarship

Archaeologist Cynthia Kordecki was one of the greatest contributors to the NDAA. She put 110% of her energy and support into this organization. This scholarship honors her memory.

To continue making these grants available (and ultimately receive presentations and articles related to the research) the Cynthia Kordecki Scholarship Fund needs ongoing contributions.

The North Dakota Archaeological Association (NDAA) is in the process of applying for 501(c)3 status with the
Internal Revenue Service. The Scholarship is registered with the State of North Dakota  and is able to function as a 501(c)3 while we wait for the Federal EIN number, likely at the end of 2021.

The Cynthia Kordecki Scholarship is a separate organization from the NDAA, however, the NDAA directly benefits from articles and presentations provided by Scholarship awardees.

Online Donations are now accepted:

For the time being, please write a check to the NDAA and note “Cynthia Kordecki Scholarship” on the memo line.  We will transfer all Scholarship funds to a separate bank account after one is set up.  Mail to:
